**Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Description**
Interim HealthCare of NEPA is seeking a qualified Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide essential support services to adults with disabilities. As a DSP, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and ensuring their overall well-being.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Daily Activities: Help clients with eating, drinking, and managing medication
- Mobility and Transfers: Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Health Monitoring: Track client health, monitor intake/output, and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
**Requirements and Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- 6 months to 1 year of experience working with intellectually disabled individuals preferred
- Knowledge of Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) preferred
