School Based Personal Care Aide PCA
Caring for students with special needs in Scranton, Dunmore, Carbondale, Moscow, and Mountain Top PA
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Based Personal Care Aide PCA to join our team.
Job Details:
- $22 per hour with quarterly bonuses up to $200 annually
- Work one-on-one with physically or mentally disabled children aged 4-21
- Assignments available Monday-Friday, day shift, with varying hours
- Holidays, weekends, snow days, and summers off
- Opportunities for advancement to home, group homes, and personal care settings
School Based Personal Care Aides PCAs are an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, providing hands-on personal care, reporting changes in client condition, and performing simple procedures as delegated by therapy or nursing services.
Responsibilities include:
- FOLLOWING school policies and procedures
- ASSISTING clients with daily tasks and activities
- REPORTING observations and concerns to Interim supervisor
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 months experience in behavioral health, pediatrics, or related field
- CPR and First Aid Certificate preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to undergo Pre-Employment Screenings
