Job Details:
- $22 per hour, with $50 quarterly bonuses (up to $200 annually)
- Transportation and mandatory in-services at $18 per hour
- Work with physically/mentally disabled children 1:1, ages 4 through 21
- Autistic support, emotional support, multi-disability support, behavioral support, etc.
- Assignments grades K through 12; M-F day shift (hours vary per case)
- OFF holidays, weekends, snow days, vacation days, Summers
- Other opportunities available; 1:1 in home, group homes, personal care homes, etc.

School Based Personal Care Aides are members of the interdisciplinary team who provide hands-on personal care, report changes in the client's condition, perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, and provide incidental/instrumental activities of daily living to clients in the home setting as evaluated/delegated and as permitted by the policies and procedures of Interim HealthCare and any other federal, state and local law or regulation.
Responsibilities:
- Follow school policies and procedures
- Assist in keeping the client on task in a classroom setting
- Redirect when necessary in the case of disruption
- Assist with bathroom duties, if needed
- Ensure that the child is safe and not harming others
- Report observations or concerns to Interim supervisor
Requirements:
- Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have six months experience in relative field; behavioral health, pediatrics, etc.
- CPR and First Aid Certificate; preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to undergo Pre-Employment Screenings
