School/Club Van Driver

Job Details:

• Type: Part Time
• Coverage Area: Lackawanna County
• Hourly Pay: Up to $17 per hour
• Typical Hours: Monday to Friday, 1pm-4pm, averaging 10-30 hours per week

The School/Club Van Driver will transport students to extra-curricular activities and oversee events at specific venues. Ensuring student safety and well-being while providing a positive experience is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a van safely, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
• Transport children, following all relevant safety and security protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized van through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Assist children as needed, ensuring they arrive safely and helping with their belongings
• Foster a positive environment for all children
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and support staff to meet the needs of all children

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience driving a van or similar vehicle
• Experience working with children in childcare or educational settings
• Coaching, mentoring, and camp activity experience
• Strong communication skills with children and adults
