School/Club Van Driver

Job Details:
- Job Type: Part Time
- Area of coverage: Lackawanna County
- Pay: Up to $17 per hour
- Typical Hours: Monday to Friday between 1pm to 4pm
Averaging 10-30 hours per week, the Van Driver will be responsible for transporting students from school to extra-curricular activities and overseeing various activities at specific venues.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a van, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport children, adhering to all relevant safety and security protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized van, including regular cleaning and sanitizing.
- Provide assistance to children as needed, including helping them with their belongings and ensuring they arrive safely.
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive environment for all children.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other support staff to ensure the needs of all children are met.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving a van or similar vehicle.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and camp activities.
- Strong communication skills with children and adults.
