As a Senior Care Companion with Interim HealthCare of NEPA, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. Our caregivers provide one-on-one support and companionship to clients, helping them live safely at home.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
- Providing medication reminders and documenting client conditions
- Maintaining a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
- Engaging in activities that bring joy to our clients, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies
Requirements for Success
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of relative experience preferred
- CPR certification required; valid PA driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation preferred
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
