Job Details:
- Job Type: Part Time
- Area of Coverage: Lackawanna County
- Pay up to $17 per hour
- Typical Hours: Monday to Friday, 1pm to 4pm (averaging 10-30 hours per week)
The Van Driver will transport students from school to extra-curricular activities and oversee various events at specific venues. The Driver will ensure the safety and well-being of children while providing a positive experience.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a van, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Transport children, following relevant safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized van, including regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Provide assistance to children as needed, ensuring their safe arrival
- Develop and maintain a supportive environment for all children
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and support staff to meet the needs of all children
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving a van or similar vehicle
- Experience working with children, preferably in childcare or educational settings
- Strong communication skills with children and adults
