Purpose and Scope:
As a PTA, you will be responsible for participating in the development and evaluation of patient care plans, providing services ordered by physicians, and assisting treating physical therapists in documenting patient progress and response to treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care services, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions designed to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Assist patients and caregivers with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Document patient progress and respond to changes in condition
- Counsel and educate patients and families on healthcare-related topics, such as wound care, nutrition, and stress management

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Minnesota
- Two years of experience in home health care or related field preferred
- Able to travel within designated geographic area; valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required
- CPR certification
