About the Role:
As a Resident Care Assistant with Interim HealthCare Staffing, you'll have the opportunity to work in different facilities, meet new people, and gain more experience. You'll care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients, working with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Care for residents' personal care and hygiene needs
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake
- Help with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Check vital signs, measure intake/output, and document any changes
- Observe patients and notify supervisors of issues requiring a change in care or medication
Requirements:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- 6 months of previous adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
