Job Description
As a Caregiving Specialist with Interim HealthCare Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in various facilities, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Caring for the personal and hygiene needs of patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times.
- Collaborating with physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
- Providing support with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Monitoring patient vitals, measuring intake/output, and documenting any changes or concerns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least six months of previous adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course (proof of professional references or certificate of completion required).
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
- A compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
