Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiving Specialist to join our team at Interim HealthCare Personal Care and Support. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide hands-on personal care, report changes in clients' conditions, perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, and provide incidental/instrumental activities of daily living to clients in the home setting.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing personalized care and support to seniors in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
- Helping with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises, ensuring clients' safety and mobility.
- Providing medication reminders, documenting clients' conditions, and notifying supervisors of any concerns.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 6 months prior adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course/certificate.
- Two positive references from previous employers or supervisors.
