Your Role
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to patients in various healthcare settings
- Work collaboratively with physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver exceptional patient care
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake
- Ambulate, transfer, and assist with range of motion exercises as needed
- Monitor patient vitals, track intake/output, and document any changes
- Observe patient conditions and notify supervisors of issues requiring adjustments to care
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Michigan
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
