Certified Trained Medication Aide Role in Pine City
We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to support residents at assisted living and memory care facilities. This role requires the ability to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and pass medications.
Job Summary
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors. As a Certified Trained Medication Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with medication administration, providing excellent patient care, and working collaboratively with our team of caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication administration, following established protocols and procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including assistance with daily activities, personal care, and emotional support.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care and services.
- Document patient information and medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Certificate from a Trained Medication Aide course of at least 48 hours.
- CNA certificate and current status on the MN CNA Registry.
- 6 months of experience in nursing homes or assisted living settings.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 18 years of age or older.
