Certified Trained Medication Aide Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a Certified Trained Medication Aide to support residents at assisted living and memory care facilities in Pine City and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be able to work as a CNA, pass medications, and provide high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Pass medications according to resident needs and facility protocols
- Provide direct care to residents as needed, including assistance with daily living activities
- Work effectively as part of a healthcare team to ensure high-quality care is delivered
Requirements
- Certificate from a Trained Medication Aide course of at least 48 hours
- CNA certificate and current status on the MN CNA Registry
- 6 months of Nursing Home or Assisted Living experience
- 6 months of experience as a TMA
- High school diploma/GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass criminal background checks
- Ability to communicate in English in both verbal and written form
- Charting in electronic medical records system
