Job Description
Interim Healthcare seeks a CT Technologist - Clinic Support for a local direct-hire opportunity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic Computerized Tomography in accordance with established protocols.
- Interact with patients, clinicians, and clinic staff in a professional manner.
- Apply understanding of protections, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Train others on safely operating all CT equipment and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with patients and respond to questions/concerns regarding the procedure.
- Document all needed aspects of the procedure accurately.
- Maintain a safe environment in the procedure space.
- Use Epic system.
- Verify that all imaging has transferred to the imaging storage and retrieval system.
- Communicate with supervisor and team.
- Demonstrate knowledge of diagnostic equipment and perform procedures with high accuracy.
- Report problems or issues with systems or equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Able to safely and efficiently operate CT equipment, patient transfer devices, security systems, fire alarms, 3D workstations, emergency equipment, Power Injector, PC, and printers.
- Able to train and maintain competencies.
