**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to support assisted living/memory care communities throughout the Cambridge area. The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatric nursing and a passion for providing high-quality care to elderly individuals.
**Responsibilities:**
- Case Management for residents in an assisted living/memory care facility, including comprehensive health assessments, medication management, and overall health status monitoring.
- Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)/Patient Care Associates (PCAs) on your shift.
- Providing health education to residents and their families on various topics such as disease management, preventative care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for residents.
- Responding to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently, following established protocols and providing immediate care as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and communications related to resident care.
**Requirements:**
- RN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Minnesota.
- Previous experience in geriatric nursing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
