Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Geriatric Nursing Specialist. This per diem opportunity will allow you to work in assisted living and memory care communities throughout the Cambridge area.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and health of our senior residents. Responsibilities include case management, medication management, and overall health status monitoring. You will also supervise CNA's/ PCA's on your shift and provide health education to residents and their families.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- RN degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Minnesota
- Previous experience in geriatric nursing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with senior residents
