A skilled Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to support assisted living/memory care communities throughout the Cambridge area. The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatric nursing and a passion for providing high-quality care to elderly individuals.
About the Role:
The RN will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and health of our senior residents. Responsibilities include case management, medication management, and overall health status monitoring. The RN will also supervise CNA's/PCA's on their shift, provide health education to residents and their families, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic care.
Requirements:
An RN degree from an accredited school of nursing, current and valid RN license in the state of Minnesota, previous experience in geriatric nursing, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a compassionate and empathetic approach to working with senior residents, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, and willingness and flexibility to cover on-call needs over the phone.
