Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinic support team, you will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vital signs, reviewing charts, and preparing exam rooms for patient setup and procedures.
You will also facilitate timely and accurate communication within the clinic, administer vaccinations, and manage in-basket tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited MA program
- 6 months of recent relevant work experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting (Family Practice/Pediatrics Experience)
- Phlebotomy/Lab experience preferred but not required
- BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling
- Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions
