We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Interim HealthCare Staffing. As a key member of our Community Staffing team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our senior residents.
- The position would be supporting assisted living/memory care communities throughout the Albert Lea area.
- The hours are mostly per diem shifts, with mostly day shift hours Monday-Friday, but occasional weekend or on-call needs as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and providing emotional support.
- Supervising CNA's/PCA's on your shift
- Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for residents.
- Documenting all assessments, interventions, and communications related to resident care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- RN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Minnesota.
- Previous experience in geriatric nursing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
