Job Summary
Assist in accounts receivable follow-up, third party payer and insurance collections.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions into accounting software applications and databases accurately.
Assist with the processing of invoices. Entering invoices to be paid for by all entities according to the budget, collecting and sorting invoices.
Creating and maintaining vendor accounts.
Receiving and recording vouchers, cash and checks.
Assist with maintaining the accounting email inbox.
Providing support documentation for yearly audits.
Send out and request W9s COIs, other vendor compliance documentation.
Manage fuel cards; collect receipts, review mileage against GPS, enter and reconcile transactions.
Sort and distribute mail daily, mailing checks to other businesses and employees.
Other duties as assigned.
Keeping a record of business transactions, organizing office mail and managing customer accounts.
Required knowledge, skills and experience and abilities:
· At least 1 year experience in accounting
· Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
· Firsthand experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to pass a background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
