Position Summary:
We’re seeking a highly skilled and discreet HR Investigations Specialist to support our manufacturing facility with sensitive employee relations matters. This role requires a seasoned HR professional experienced in handling complex investigations, including allegations of misconduct, harassment, and inappropriate workplace behavior involving power dynamics and authority misuse.
The ideal candidate will be a strong interviewer, remain neutral and objective, and document findings in a clear, legally sound manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prompt, confidential, and impartial investigations
- Handle sensitive cases involving harassment, favoritism, or misconduct
- Interview all parties in a consistent, respectful way
- Evaluate and analyze supporting documentation and evidence
- Deliver clear investigation reports with recommended next steps
- Ensure compliance with policies and employment law
- Collaborate with HR leadership and legal as needed
- Maintain case confidentiality and integrity
- Promote a respectful, accountable workplace culture
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field
- 5 years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations/investigations
- Strong knowledge of employment law and investigative best practices
- Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
- Excellent interviewing, documentation, and communication skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
Preferred Certifications:
- PHR or SHRM-CP
- AWI Certificate Holder (a plus, not required)
Salary : $35 - $50
