ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONALS
Our award-winning Interior Design firm, located in Annapolis, MD is seeking a full-time Accounting professional to join our dynamic Accounting Team.
· Experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
· Work with Accounting and Designers for entry of Sales Orders and create POs with accuracy
· Invoicing of clients’ orders in the accounting program by charging lines on appropriate dates
· Create and update account summaries for residential clients
· Apply all checks and cash that come into the company
· Communicate with designers daily notifying them of payments received from their clients
· Prepare daily deposit and add payment detail
· Reconcile credit cards and gather needed receipts from Designers
· Run Balance Due and Pending reports for monthly meetings with designers
· Maintain the AR/AP open and closed sales order file cabinet
· Help with model home pickups and Cycle counts
· Review detailed Residential client proposals for content and calculations
· Invoicing and payment processing
Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of professional experience in an office environment. This position requires the ability to multi-task, extreme attention to detail and efficiently complete high-priority tasks. Applicants must be able to work with all types of personalities professionally and positively while maintaining a sense of urgency. Applicants must be proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and have the ability to learn new technologies. Experience with inventory control software and accounting experience preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field, preferred. Interest in the interior design field preferred.
