Job Summary
The Operations Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of daily warehouse operations within the organization. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong physical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and be proficient in various administrative functions, including managing receiving, scheduling, installations, providing support to team members, and maintaining accurate records.
Duties
- Manage incoming vendor deliveries and correspondence and planning accordingly.
- Physically receive and stage incoming product and enter into operating system.
- Manage the open order backlog planning for future deliveries and installations.
- Manage delivery and installation labor resources maximizing client engagement while maximizing profitability.
- Manage open issue reporting.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and team members.
- Maintain organized records and files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform proofreading of documents to ensure clarity and correctness.
- Utilize computerized systems for data entry and record management.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Act as a personal assistant to senior management when required, handling various administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency is preferred to enhance communication with diverse clients.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience as a warehouse manager or scheduler is a plus.
- Familiarity with phone systems and customer support practices.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using computers and various software applications for administrative tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
