About the Role
Serves as the Credit Union Trainer by conducting company training programs for employees. Writes and updates training procedures and training materials. Assists with responding to audit requests and backing up the HR Department. Responds to questions and / or provides information upon request from internal and external members. Maintains Learning Management System.
Qualifications
1-3 years of similar or related experience and a 2-year college degree or completion of a specialized certification or licensing or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program – related to education or training. Motivating and influencing others is a material part of the job. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and / or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and / or sell ideas or services to others. The role requires a significant level of trust or diplomacy. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Strong administrative skills needed. Demonstrated knowledge of Credit Union policies or procedures. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with MS Office suite. Symitar, Meridian Link, Velera and Candescent experience preferred CU experience helpful. Ability to adjust schedule and travel to various parts of the organization to train and assist.
