Junior Interior Designer / Design Showroom Sales Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer / Design Sales Consultant to join a talented team. This opportunity allows you to design custom work and work with the company's own line and various brands from Europe and Japan. As a Junior Interior Designer / Design Showroom Sales Consultant, you will are a dynamic individual working on design projects to working with clients making purchases in the studio showroom. You will support the design team in various aspects of the design process, floor plans, including material sourcing and ordering, concept development, and client communication. You will also assist in creating design presentations, managing project documentation, and coordinating with Contractors and vendors. Understanding all things FF&E, including custom furnishings, lighting, and rugs, is key. In addition, in this dynamic role you will be working in the showroom displaying and selling to clients the custom furnishings from the company's own line to custom overseas sourced pieces. It allows you to be able to work with clients from one project impact to an entire design, depending on their needs.

Qualifications
- 2 years of Interior Design Experience from design-specific firms.
- A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2 years of experience); knowledge and abilities also in Studio Designer, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to create floor plans
- Experienced working with clients or customers that visit the studio / showroom
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented with schedules, emails, communication, measurements, drawings, and presentations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive and welcoming attitude, create mindset, and self-motivated.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Understanding of construction and building codes is a plus
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Knowledge of the design trade with a desire to continue learning
