Wait Assistant

Interlachen Country Club is seeking a Wait Assistant. The Wait Assistant is responsible for providing warm, welcoming hospitality and assisting our restaurant team during service. In this role, you will work in an energetic environment alongside supportive teammates with the opportunity to build relationships and create moments that matter every day.

Responsibilities And Expectations

• Enhance our member experience by anticipating needs, personalizing interactions, and striving to be the best part of each member's day.
• Support servers by assisting with the expo, running food, refilling beverages, clearing, and resetting tables.
• Work closely with the BOH and FOH staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Keep orders organized and promptly deliver them to the correct tables.
• Assist your fellow team members with additional tasks when needed.
• Support your fellow team members and contribute to a healthy, positive culture.
  
  

Ideal Qualifications And Attributes

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GE.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service/hospitality.
• Must be 16 years or older.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move and lift up to 25-50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time
  
  

Availability

• This position is available for part-time individuals. Candidates must be willing to have flexible schedules and willing to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays. Shifts will differ from 4-8 hours.
