Responsibilities
- Manage the leasing process, including advertising vacancies and conducting property showings. New lease up experience helpful.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of property, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet quality standards.
- Utilize software for property management tasks including tenant applications, lease agreements, and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of property files, tenant communications, and maintenance requests.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants through effective customer service and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with local housing regulations, including LIHTC and Section 8 guidelines where applicable.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair work with contractors and service providers to uphold property standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of property to assess condition and identify necessary improvements or repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and real estate administrative practices.
- Familiarity with property management software is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
- Ability to handle legal administrative tasks related to property management effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously.
