Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN)

This position is designed to support the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education in providing training and technical assistance to build the capacity of local educational agencies to serve students who receive special education services.

Must have minimum 5 years of experience in education, a Master’s degree in Special Education or related area, and PA Certification: Instructional I or Education Specialist I with level II and supervisory certifications preferred. Regional and statewide travel is a requirement of this position.

The successful candidate should have expertise with the following areas: Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind, Significant Cognitive Disabilities, and Secondary Transition or Behavior. Additional experience should include coaching, facilitation, and school improvement planning.
