Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Line Project Manager to join our team at Intermountain Consumer Professional Engineers, Inc. (ICPE). The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience managing transmission line projects from conceptualization to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and design overhead power transmission and distribution line projects
- Apply sound engineering principles and practices in project design
- Make decisions independently on engineering approach and methods
- Supervise, coordinate, and review work of designers and drafters on assigned work
- Prepare construction specifications, structure and material specifications, engineering proposals, and development of project cost estimates
- Review design for compliance with engineering principles, industry codes and standards, customer requirements, and related specifications
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Electrical or Civil/Structural Engineering from accredited institution
- Must be a US citizen
- 5 years engineering experience that includes overhead transmission and distribution line planning, analysis, calculations, and design
- Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge and understanding of RUS, IEEE, NESC, NFPA, ANSI standards
