Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Behavioral Health department provides high-quality patient care to individuals with mental health needs. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical, social, and psychological status through comprehensive evaluations and ongoing assessments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and providing emotional support.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of RN work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.
