Responsibilities:
\- Perform radiographic mammography procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic films for breast tissue abnormalities detection.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Review and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered, ensuring quality images and coordinating preparation of images/exams and needed documentation for physician partners.
- Document and communicate patient-related information thoroughly and accurately, informing patients of physicians' instructions or ancillary caregivers' observations or concerns.
- Meet the needs of patients, family, and multi-disciplinary teams through effective communication, coordination, and documentation, ensuring safety, care, courtesy, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
\- Graduate of an accredited American Registry of Radiologic Technology Program, required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology ARRT (R), required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology ARRT (M) registry, required with 18 months of hire.
- Current Radiologic Technologist state licensure is required in the state of practice, if applicable.
- Health Care Provider Life Support certification, required.
