Job Description:
This position is responsible for performing tasks that support complete, accurate and timely collection, and entry of physician orders.- Accurately analyze and transcribe physician orders into software application for home medical equipment in accordance to State, Federal, and Joint Commission guidelines.
- Prepares, sends, and receives physician orders in accordance with State and Federal laws, and tracks the progress in receiving them back.
- Accurately and timely prepares and enters patient documents into the software system.
- Provides excellent telephone and in-person customer service, answers and returns calls promptly and courteously, and responds to requests in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provides effective and clear communication in both writing and verbally to physician offices, patients, intake, and the service line regarding issues with the patient record.
- Coordinates with the service line, Intake, and Physicians/Physician Offices regarding the collection of medical documents that are required to update the patient record and ensure accurate billing practices
- Maintains productivity levels established by management in completion of work.

Minimum Qualifications
- One year of customer service experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, follow instruction and function as part of a team.
