Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care that meets or exceeds the standard of care for the specialty(s) or subspecialty(s) of practice.
- Provide clinical services including diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of conditions requiring medical care.
- Consult with other providers as requested and provide referring providers and Intermountain with written reports on results of examinations within a reasonable time following such requests.
- Perform patient care duties at the location(s) and according to the schedule determined by the specialty and site of care to meet the availability needs of Intermountain and its staff during site of care hours as established by Intermountain.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree; or equivalent if education is completed outside the United States
- Completion of graduate medical education training program in the specialty(s) or subspecialty(s) of practice. Graduate education must be obtained through an ACGME or AOA accredited institution
- ABMS or equivalent AOA Board Certification in the specialty(s) or subspecialty(s) of practice
- Active Medical Licensure, or in process of obtaining licensure, is required in the state in which physician will practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
