Job Description
The Mobility Therapist will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care possible. This position involves performing and documenting initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions, developing plans describing a treatment strategy, its purposes, and its anticipated outcome.
The Mobility Therapist will also use various modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling, provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs, and help restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent disability.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions
- Develop plans describing a treatment strategy, its purposes, and its anticipated outcome
- Use various modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling
- Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
- One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting)
