MRI Lead Technologist

Job Description:
As a MRI Lead Technologist with Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring optimal safety and quality of care for our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of the MRI department, ensuring that all procedures are performed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, managing supplies and equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of MRI technologists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform high-quality scans.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement protocols for diagnostic imaging services.
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient care.
• Ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and updated to meet the needs of the department.

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Utah.
• MR registered technologist with ARRT.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Intermountain IV certified.
• At least three years of experience in MRI, preferably in a leadership role.
