As an OBGYN Sonographer in Maternal Fetal Medicine, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team by operating ultrasound imaging equipment, performing perinatal ultrasound procedures, and ensuring quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operates all of the Ultrasound Imaging and related equipment.
- Educates, positions, immobilizes and performs Perinatal Ultrasound procedures.
- C coordinates Perinatal Ultrasound examination to ensure timeliness, quality and continuity of patient care.
- Understands and follows provider Imaging orders correctly.
- Submits required images and related clinical information for interpretation. Evaluates image quality.
- Utilizes, charges, and maintains department supplies.
- Practices sterile technique and follows infection prevention policies.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree from an accredited sonography program, required.
- Current ARDMS certification in OB/GYN, required.
- Nuchal Translucency certification, required.
- Current BLS certification, required.
