Job Description: As a Radiation Oncology Clinical Supervisor at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day operations, personnel management, and serving as a liaison with external vendors to ensure the proper functioning of technical equipment and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the operation of all technical equipment and perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Evaluate and procure necessary supplies and equipment for the department, including radiation therapy technology and treatment delivery systems.
- Assess staffing needs and adjust accordingly to provide safe, high-quality patient care, including maintaining competency to step into the radiation therapist role as needed.
- Develop and maintain an onboarding process that ensures new staff members are properly trained and evaluated in their roles.
- Provide information to caregivers and physicians through regular communication, including updates on departmental activities, financial performance, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage human resource functions, including interviewing, selection, onboarding, education/training, feedback, performance evaluation, and policy development.
- Monitor staff adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures, and conduct coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Ensure accurate documentation of treatment set-ups, doses, and calculations, and maintain records in accordance with national, institutional, and departmental standards.
- Promote effective working relationships within the department and with inter-organizational partners to facilitate the achievement of goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program, with a preferred Baccalaureate Degree in Radiation Therapy Technology.
- Registered member in good standing of the ARRT in radiation therapy or registry eligible.
- Current license in the state of Wyoming.
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, required.
- Preferred: A minimum of two (2) years of previously related leadership and/or management experience.

The hourly range for this position is $43.67 - $67.41.
