Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Intermountain Health's Park City Hospital. As a member of our interdisciplinary approach to patient care, you will work closely with the LM & WC team to provide medical massage therapy to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide massage therapy to patients as required by their plan of care.
- Maintain and clean massage therapy equipment as needed.
- Educate patients on the importance, benefits, and contraindications of massage therapy.
- Communicate treatment plans and assessment findings to physical/occupational therapists.
- Participate in program development and establish new procedures to improve patient care.
Requirements:
- Current license as a Massage Therapist in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: LMT and minimum 3 years cranial sacral education and experience.
