Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast items, including hot and cold foods, beverages, and condiments.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, utensils, and serving equipment.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
- Assist with cash handling for any breakfast-related transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or catering is preferred.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food handling best practices.
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus.
- Skills in coffee preparation and knowledge of various coffee types are beneficial.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives for food preparation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
