We are currently seeking an experienced, driven, and responsible Payroll Administrator for our Greenwood Village, CO offices. This role will process Corporate and other assigned properties full cycle payroll, provide customer support to both Corporate staff and field payroll teams, and assist with post payroll processing tasks, including various funding, balancing and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process full cycle (from time records through payment), multi-state bi-weekly payroll for the Corporate offices and other assigned properties.
- Verify employee records based on documentation provided by HR (personal action notices, time off requests, etc.).
- Entry and reconciliation of imputed earnings and benefits including auto allowances, group term life insurance, disability insurance, fringe benefits, etc. for assigned employees.
- Maintain supporting documentation for all employee related changes and periodic payroll reports in accordance with department and company guidelines for assigned employees.
- Maintain employee tax and direct deposit settings for assigned employees.
- Reconcile and submit funding requests for direct deposits, 401K and benefit spending accounts.
- Maintain payroll integrity by reviewing all payroll activity and supporting all Xanterra properties with the processing of individual operation payrolls.
- Coordinate with HR to correct any employee record issues as needed for assigned employees and process adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy. Prepare any journal entries for adjustments as necessary.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and any necessary journal entries for payroll related general ledger accounts assigned, including vacation and payroll accruals.
- Assist with W2 preparation and distribution, year-end close processes, reconciliations, and audits.
- Enter pay distribution program registrations.
- Produce or update process documentation for all tasks.
- Provide assistance to employees and field payroll teams as needed.
- Assist with system testing and provided system support, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience processing payroll
- High school diploma / GED required
- F.P.C. preferred
- Working knowledge of payroll processes and procedures; including pay calculations, pre-tax and post-tax deductions and basic tax regulations.
- Infor/Lawson software experience a plus.
- Strong skill set in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail oriented with ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated, self-starter with excellent time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, in both remote and in-person environments.
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $55,000.00 to $65,000.00.
