What you bring to the table 

As our Customer Service Representative, you'll be the superhero ensuring Lesaffre's industry-leading products are delivered to our customers with perfect precision. Leveraging your expertise in sales order management, you'll be the go-to subject matter expert, interfacing directly with clients, entering and tracking orders, and resolving any service issues that arise. What you’ll do as a Customer Service Representative

  •  Provide positive and proactive customer service into two separate business units, Red Star Yeast, LLC. and Lesaffre Corporation
  •  Receive and initiate communications with customers regarding sale of products, shipments of products, product inquiries
  •  Own customer order entry and fulfillment process; receive orders, review orders, and verify pricing, enter orders, close orders
  •  Process credits and returns in accordance of BRC and company policies
  •  Maintain customer accounts and ensure accurate data within accounts
  •  Assist in maintaining proper customer pricing to maintain accuracy for customer invoicing
  •  Manage and coordinate different workflows with internal & external departments, Sales, Finance, Quality Assurance, and Technical Services
  •  Collaborate in managing inventory such as insuring proper rotation of product, working with production, and purchasing departments ensure timely product flow
  •  Manage customer complaints by collecting data, establishing facts & entering data and documentation into CRM system (Salesforce) for further root cause evaluation
  •  Work with QA and Sales to provide technical data or other requested documentation and samples if applicable
  •  Work in collaboration with Logistics to schedule trucks and track shipments
  •  Knowledge of exporting shipments and to provide necessary documentation for international shipments
  •  Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications:  

  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  •  2 or more years of related business or customer service experience
  •  Knowledge of Microsoft office tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  •  Strong knowledge of an ERP system, preferably with SAP or Oracle

Preferred qualifications: 

  •  Supply chain knowledge or experience preferred
