The Alaska Climate Adaptation Science Center at the International Arctic Research Center seeks two interns for a 10-week summer internship from June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025.
Responsibilities
During this unique, 10-week internship you’ll work with scientists and science communication experts to support research activities in a variety of topics (ecology, biology, environmental science, earth science) and generate creative and innovative communication products in a supportive, semi-structured environment.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you must be an upper level undergraduate, recently graduated, or a current graduate student, excited about learning more about science communication, and passionate about science. The successful intern will also have excellent written and oral communication skills; the ability to follow detailed instructions and meet deadlines; the ability to work independently and as a team; and be organized and detail oriented.
