**Job Title:** Van Driver
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Van Driver to oversee individual accounts at International Auto Processing, LLC. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for processing new shipments, vehicle movements, and disposition to load lines. This role requires maintaining an in-depth knowledge of account procedures and ensuring accountability for meeting specified production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and Maintain Shuttle Vans: Safely operate and maintain shuttle vans to ensure timely and efficient transportation of materials and personnel.
- Coordinate Vehicle Movements: Plan and coordinate vehicle movements to minimize wait time for drivers and consolidate movements whenever possible.
- Monitor and Record Daily Activity: Record daily activity on a computer tablet and submit a written report to maintain accurate records.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to damaged units or other units requiring special attention.
- Ensure Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a safe working environment by following all policies and procedures regarding safety and promoting cleanliness on the shuttle van and all IAP zones.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required, or 1 year of continuous work experience with no more than 2 employers.
- Valid US Driver's License: Possess a valid US driver's license.
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge): Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Handheld Scanning Devices: Experience using handheld scanning devices.
- Demonstrated Commitment to Safety: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all policies and procedures.
