Japanese Speaker - Production Engineering Manager
Our client is a well-established international automotive supplier, and we are currently looking for an experienced production engineering manager who is fluent in Japanese and English for your client in Ohio.

Some of the minimum qualification requirements:
- Fluent in both Japanese and English.
- MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and CAD programs.
- Knowledge of production design, equipment and processes, as well as safety standards, measures and polities.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment, including gauging tools.
- 3 years of the lead production roles. 6 Sigma, continuous improvement, Kaizen, and etc..
- Knowledge of and/or work experience with Toyota Production System (TPS) in the automotive industry.
- Authorized to work in the US permanently without a visa sponsorship. (Note: There is no work visa support at this role.)
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally on the job.
- Able to start in 2 weeks if you receive a job offer. (Note: This is an on-site position.)
Some of the main responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and organize new and existing product designs through trials and evaluation in the production environment.
- Manage engineers, specialists and assistants.
- Continuously check operation to ensure proper conditions.
- Maintain necessary equipment, tools and standards,
- Troubleshoot various parts, operations and equipment.
- Continuously suggest and implement ideas to save cost in the plant. Promote and encourage Gorika activities plant wide.
- Assist production engineering technical coordinators in Gorika activities and meetings.
- Other tasks will be assigned as necessary.
Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000/yr, depending on your related work experience.
FLSA Status: Exempt
