Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing, direction, coordination, growth, and evaluation of the Behavioral Health Outpatient Services. This position requires an advanced level of clinical knowledge, communication, systems-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration (e.g. Administration, Nursing, Medical, Pharmacy, Operations and External Stakeholders) to assure safe, effective, quality patient care.
Education - Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related field (Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy) required.
Experience - Five (5) years’ experience in medical social work or health psychology in a community behavioral health setting required. A minimum of three (3) years leadership experience in medical social work or health psychology in a community behavioral health setting with responsibility for staff recruitment, hiring and supervision as well as program development, evaluation and budget management required.
Other Requirement(s) - Active License to practice in Washington State: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD or PhD). Washington Approved Supervisor preferred. Fluency in Asian and Pacific Islander language preferred.
Salary : $93,704 - $137,192
