Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Healthy Aging & Wellness Program (HAWP) Center Manager oversees and manages the daily operations of the Program for All Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE) including operations of the day center, clinic, social work, rehabilitation, recreation, nutrition, and administrative support teams. This includes ensuring that appropriate personnel are trained and perform their functions within the organization, operational services standards and budgetary criteria are met, and operations are in compliance with all governing regulations. Assumes the Program Director’s responsibilities in their absence. This position is a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, pursuant to 42 CFR
Experience - A minimum of five years of health care experience, and three years of management experience, preferably in a geriatric care setting preferred. Minimum of one year experience working with the frail and elderly population preferred; if not met, required to train upon hire on the complexities of serving a frail and elderly population. Either training or related experience in direction of a health care program. Knowledge of the physical, mental, and social needs of the elderly.
Other Requirement(s) - Must have active CPR and First Aid Certification, or willing to obtain within 1 month of hire.
