Job Summary
This position is responsible for answering patient calls regarding billing questions and using sound judgement in handling calls, resolve concerns and document specific actions taken on individual accounts in the Epic Billing systems. This position is responsible for considering the status of the entire patient account and for exercising judgment to determine appropriate course of action to bring account to resolution.
Education - High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience - Two years of experience in patient accounting, customer service, experience related to clinical environment, and or experience in a billing environment and experience in Epic software.
Other Requirement(s) - Knowledge of medical terminology. Fluent in English and preferred trilingual in an Asian Pacific Islander (API) language.
