Our IA Austin Studio is currently hiring for the position of Design Director. In this role, you are responsible for providing a clear vision and direction for the studio’s design output. You will partner with clients and project teams to elevate design in all markets ranging from hospitality, multi-family, to workplace, and you’ll foster a culture of design excellence

Job Responsibilities
- Establishes rapport with clients, develops project vision and understands client goals for performance, budget and schedule
- Leads design presentations for key projects and accounts
- Monitors team design output for all clients, coordinating with PM and design / technical teams to ensure design and furniture deliverables are aligned with client goals.
- Leads creation of space plans, design deliverables and furniture packages for key projects and accounts
- Mentors and develops the design team. Oversees deliverables and provides feedback on work product. Together with studio leadership, leads key training and team-building exercises
- Maintains strong industry and client relationships. Together with studio leadership, identifies opportunities for business development and new project pursuits
- Together with design and marketing teams, leads project photography efforts
- Fosters internal relationships across the firm, ensuring that design deliverables are aligned with best practices firmwide
