We are seeking a skilled Monitoring Engineer with expertise in Splunk and AppDynamics to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring the performance, availability, and reliability of mission-critical applications and infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage monitoring solutions using Splunk and AppDynamics to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts in Splunk and AppDynamics for application and infrastructure monitoring.
- Develop and optimize search queries, configurations, and custom scripts to enhance monitoring capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather monitoring requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze system logs, events, and application performance metrics to detect anomalies, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
- Implement and maintain integrations between monitoring tools and third-party platforms to create a comprehensive monitoring ecosystem.
- Drive automation efforts to improve the efficiency and accuracy of monitoring processes.
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for monitored systems and applications.
- Document monitoring solutions, configurations, and processes to support knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
